Hello and welcome back, we hope you've had a great summer. We are looking forward to a busy Show Term.
Please make a note of our Show dates - Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th January 2023 at Derby Theatre.
Our Show is open to all students except Melody Bear and Acro Tots.
Show letters are being issued this week, please read carefully, complete and return to us with payment as soon as possible. Note the £25.00 includes a souvenir Show T Shirt and covers the cost for additional rehearsals in the lead up to the Show. Deadline for return of letters is Saturday 1st of October.
Ticket Booking Forms are now available from Reception or to download from our website: www.tiptoedanceschool.com. Tickets will be issued in the order of receipt.
UNIFORM
As I am sure you are all very aware Covid hit dance suppliers very hard as they completely closed down over the period and then on re-opening struggled for stock etc. Unfortunately after using the same company for over 20 years they have closed the business. We have worked very hard over the summer to find a new company for our uniform supplies and to update our website. Therefore, if you visit our website: www.tiptoedanceschool.com, Shop you will find a link to our Dance Store. All uniform with the exception of socks (which are available from Reception) is listed there. Note: Any returns/queries etc must be directed straight to the new supplier. There will be a delivery charge and items will be delivered straight to your home address. Please ensure you have the most up to date uniform to wear in class at all times.
Please note Jazz Taps Shoes and Canvas Ballet Shoes are a requirement from Grade 2 (Red Bubble and above).
Our leisurewear (printed uniform) is still with the same company but must be ordered through our website and not direct to Printable. They will not deal with any orders/queries placed direct.
AUDITIONS
We hold auditions for the Opening Number and Finale routines. Opening Number is open to Cerise A/B, Lilac and Purple Bubbles only - Tuesday 13th September at 7.30 pm. Finale is open to Red Bubble and above - Sunday 11th September at 1.00 pm to 2.30 pm. If you are successful you will be required to attend rehearsals each week at an additional cost plus there will be an additional costume.
If you currently have a private lesson please can we remind you that any cancellation MUST be confirmed in good time with the teacher otherwise you will still be charged.
